Here Lies Love traces the astonishing journey of Imelda Marcos, First Lady of the Philippines, from her meteoric rise to power to descent into infamy and disgrace. Through an exhilarating series of songs written by David Byrne, with musical contributions from Fatboy Slim (Norman Cook), Songs from Here Lies Love presents the infamous Imelda Marcos meditating on events in her life, from her childhood spent in poverty and her rise to First Lady of the Philippines to her ultimate departure from the palace.
