Sean Hayes
Sean Patrick Hayes (born June 26, 1970) is an American actor, comedian, and producer. He is best known for his role as Jack McFarland on the NBC sitcom Will & Grace, for which he won an Emmy Award, four SAG Awards, and one American Comedy Award, and earned six Golden Globe nominations.
As a teenager, Hayes was an extra in the film Lucas (1986), which was filmed at his high school. He made his professional debut in the independent film Billy’s Hollywood Screen Kiss (1998), which brought him wide attention. The same year, he was cast as Jack McFarland, a flamboyantly gay and frequently unemployed actor, in the NBC comedy series Will & Grace. The show became a long-running hit and Hayes’ performance earned him seven consecutive Emmy Award nominations as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He won the award for his first nomination. He was also nominated for six Golden Globe Awards for his performance.
David Javerbaum
David Javerbaum is a 13-time Emmy-winning American comedy writer. As of 2015 he works as a producer for The Late Late Show with James Corden on CBS and runs the popular Twitter account @TheTweetOfGod , which serves as the basis for his play An Act of God, which will open on Broadway in May starring Jim Parsons.
Javerbaum was hired as a staff writer at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in 1999. He was promoted to head writer in 2002 and became an executive producer at the end of 2006. His work for the program won 11 Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, two Peabody Awards and Television Critics Association Awards for both Best Comedy and Best News Show. He was also one of the three principal authors of the show’s textbook parody America (The Book): A Citizen’s Guide to Democracy Inaction, which sold 2.6 million copies and won the 2005 Thurber Prize for American Humor. In 2013 he was hired by Fusion to create and executive-produce two news-parody shows, No, You Shut Up! and Good Morning Today, in conjunction with The Henson Company. He is the sole author of two books: 2011’s The Last Testament: A Memoir by God, in conjunction with which he created @TheTweetOfGod, and the 2009 pregnancy satire What to Expect When You’re Expected: A Fetus’s Guide to the First Three Trimesters. In addition he co-authored Neil Patrick Harris’s 2014 memoirs, The Choose Your Own Autobiography of Neil Patrick Harris.
