Andy Karl Now to Star in Pretty Women
Andy Karl will play Edward in the upcoming Broadway musical adaptation of “Pretty Woman,” which begins previews on July 20. Karl is replacing Tony winner Steve Kazee (“Once”), who is departing the production for family reasons. (Kazee’s home in Kentucky burned down earlier this month.)

Andy Karl (born August 28, 1973 ) is an American actor and singer, best known for performing in musical theatre. He has appeared on Broadway in the original productions of Legally Blonde, 9 to 5, Rocky the Musical as well as appearing in Wicked, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Jersey Boys, On The Twentieth Century, & And So It Goes.
2017 had him star as Phil Connors in the musical Groundhog Day on Broadway, a role he originated in London having won the 2017 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical and now stepping into Pretty Women on Broadway.
