John Caird

John Caird is a multiple Tony Award winning director and writer and an Honorary Associate Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company. His many works include Les Miserables, The Life and Times of Nicholas Nickleby, Jane Eyreand countless other plays, operas and musicals that are performed all over the world. His opera, Brief Encounter, written with Andre Previn had it’s world premiere at the Houston Grand Opera in 2009. His new book on directing, Theater Craft has just been published.
