Waitress the Musical

Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker stuck in a small town and a loveless marriage. Faced with an unexpected pregnancy, Jenna fears she may have to abandon the dream of opening her own pie shop forever until a baking contest in a nearby county and the town’s handsome new doctor offer her a tempting recipe for happiness. Supported by her quirky crew of fellow waitresses and loyal customers, Jenna summons the secret ingredient she’s been missing all along  courage.

Gavin Creel

Gavin James Creel (born April 18, 1976) is an American actor, singer and songwriter. Creel is best known for his work in musical theatre, for which he has received two Tony Award nominations—for originating the role of Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie and for his performance as Claude in Hair—and an Laurence Olivier Award for originating the West End version of Elder Price in The Book of Mormon at Prince of Wales Theatre. He also played the role of Elder Price in US National Tour and on Broadway at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre. He played Steven Kodaly in Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of She Loves Me, which premiered in spring 2016. In 2017 Gavin played Cornelius Hackl along side Bette Milder in Hello Dolly and Waitress with Sara Bareilles from January 7 2019.

Sara Bareilles

Sara Beth Bareilles (born December 7, 1979) is an American singer-songwriter, actress and author. She achieved mainstream success in 2007 with the hit single “Love Song”, which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Bareilles has sold over one million albums and over nine million singles and downloads in the United States alone and has earned six Grammy Award nominations, including one Album of the Year nomination for her album The Blessed Unrest. In the third season of NBC’s The Sing-Off, Bareilles served as a celebrity judge alongside Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman. In February 2012 VH1 placed Bareilles in the 80th spot of the Top 100 Greatest Women in Music.
