Michael Watson Joins Jersey Boys as the New Frankie Valli.
Michael Watson will play the role of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys from late April 2014. The role had been played for six years till early March 2014 by Ryan Molloy and had the special return of John Lloyd Young who originated the role of Frankie Valli on Broadway in 2006 for 5 weeks. Great News, the show has also announced that it will be extending to 15 Feb 2015.
Cast Includes Edd Post as Bob Gaudio, Jon Boydon as Tommy DeVito and Matt Nalton as Nick Massi. Sandy Moffat will play the role of Frankie Valli at certain performances.

Training: Michael Watson began his training at Tiffany Stage Academy in his home town of Clacton-on-Sea. At sixteen he won a scholarship to the Tiffany Theatre College in Southend, graduating in July 2006. Michael has performed in many London theatres including Sadler’s Wells, the Palladium and the Royal Albert Hall, where he performed in the Chess Anniversary Concert alongside Kerry Ellis, Josh Groban and Idina Menzel. Michael’s West End debut was in the hit show We Will Rock You where he enjoyed a successful two years.
West End credits include: The original cast of Imagine This at the New London Theatre, the original cast of Sister Act at the London Palladium, where he covered and played the roles of TJ and Denero, alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Sheila Hancock, the original cast of Shrek The Musical at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and, most recently, Woof in a charity gala performance of Hair at the Piccadilly Theatre.
Other credits include: Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Radlett Theatre, Tribe and cover Woof in Hair at the Deutsches Theater, Munich, Rooster in Annie alongside Su Pollard (international tour) and workshops for Ghost, In Touch and All or Nothing.
