Speed the Plow
Set over three acts, Speed-the-Plow is a play about two Hollywood hot shots, Bobbie Gould and Charlie Fox, who are preparing to pitch a new script to a film company. However things go awry as discussion turns to bedding new employee, Karen. Speed-the-Plow is to be directed by Lindsay Posner and is set to take a satirical stance on the Hollywood film industry. Posner has previously directed other work by Mamet such as A Life in The Theatre, Oleanna and Sexual Perversity.
