Springtime for London! The Producers Extends West End Run Through September 2026
Springtime for London! The Producers Smashes the West End at the Garrick Theatre
The surefire flop that became a smash hit is now the hottest ticket in London. With a Hollywood legend currently leading the charge, there has never been a better time to see Mel Brooks’ masterpiece.
Richard Kind Brings Hollywood Hilarity to Max Bialystock
In a thrilling twist for the 2026 West End season, stage and screen legend Richard Kind has stepped into the role of the irrepressible Max Bialystock. Known for his iconic roles in Spin City, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Only Murders in the Building, Kind brings a masterclass in comic timing to the Garrick Theatre.
Kind, who previously played the role on Broadway, is providing a “full-throttle reminder” of why he is a comedy master. He is temporarily covering for original star Andy Nyman, who returns to the production on 11 May 2026.
Note: Richard Kind’s limited engagement ends on 6 May 2026. If you want to see this “Bialystock for the ages,” you must act fast!
A Modern Revival of a Cult Classic
Directed by Patrick Marber, this production transferred from a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Unlike previous versions, this revival is the first in London allowed to move away from the original Broadway direction, offering a fresh, sharp, and satirical take that feels incredibly relevant today.
The stellar principal cast includes:
- Marc Antolin as the jittery and charming Leo Bloom.
- Joanna Woodward as the show-stopping Ulla.
- Trevor Ashley as the resplendently flamboyant Roger DeBris.
- Harry Morrison as the unpredictable Franz Liebkind.
